update #3

We are grateful the storms didn't impact our Charlotte-Metro community as originally forecast. However, we are still responding to the Florence aftermath in the following ways:

There are bins in our Lobby for collection of the items above. You can drop them off this week, Tuesday-Friday, or bring your items with you on Sunday. Thank you for helping us change lives that change the world!

Video Update #2

NO SERVICES ON CAMPUS FOR SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2018. JOIN US ON FACEBOOK LIVE FOR AN INTERACTIVE  EXPERIENCE AT 11AM.

Update #2

  • Sonship Men's Breakfast that was scheduled for Saturday, 9/15 has been canceled.
  • We will be doing a food drive to help the most vulnerable people - our friends in Huntington Greens trailer park. Some of the residents are evacuating to North Meck High School. Caterpillar Ministries food pantry is already running low. Let's reach into our cupboards on Wednesday and Sunday and bring in some food items to help restock their pantry. Click here for a printable list of items needed to restock Caterpillar Ministries food pantry.
  • We can help the homeless with care kits. Click here for a printable list of items for a Care Kit.
  • We want to support our 1st Responders over the next few days. We have contacted Huntersville PD and Cornelius PD.  They will have extra staff in and be very busy.  We want to take them meals and healthy/unhealthy snacks. We are not allowed into any Red Cross shelter unless we have already passed their background check.
  • A great thing that we can do as believers is to convert worrying time to worship time. Engage in thanksgiving and praise to God. Many people faced storms in the bible and worship was the solution. Here is a list of Prayer Points from our Tuesday Night prayer time.

video update #1

Watch the Thursday evening video update below by Pastor Jeff.  Two important things:

  • This Sunday, Sept. 16th, we are cancelling the 9:15a service and planning on 11:00a service.  It's important that we meet together to worship and pray.  Final call on the 11a service will be made Sunday morning.  Please check back here for the latest information.
  • We are planning on relief efforts, such as meals for our 1st responders, food drive, and care packets on Sunday at 11:00a. More information coming soon.
